Baptism and Church Membership Course

In March 2017 we will be running a Baptism and Church Membership Course over two sessions; the first on baptism and the second on church membership.

These two sessions are designed for anyone considering baptism and church membership. We put baptism and church membership together because in the New Testament Church, conversion is linked to baptism, and both are linked to our commitment to and membership of a local group of believers. Baptism, among other things, is baptism into membership of Jesus' worldwide church, which is shown in membership of a local expression of Jesus' worldwide church.

Attending the course does not commit you to baptism and church membership, but is a chance to explore whether you are ready to. If you decide to take it further, you are invited to meet with our Pastor Pete Hitchcock and one of our elders to share how you became a Christian and to talk through more personally about baptism and church membership.

If you are a Christian and have not been baptised yet, or want to understand more about believer's baptism and church membership, this course is for you. If you have already been baptised but are not yet a church member, this course is also for you (you are welcome at both sessions but the second session will be more relevant).

We would love you to join us. The dates are Wednesdays 15th and 22nd March, 8:00 - 9:30pm.

Please let Pete know if you are interested: 01483 425652 or pete@binscombechurch.org
