What do we do in Home Groups?
In Home Groups we study the Bible together – normally the passage that was preached the previous Sunday. This gives opportunity to raise questions and explore further what God is saying to us. If you missed the Sunday morning service, Home Groups are a great way to catch up. You might find it helpful to listen to the sermon online beforehand – click here for the Bible Talks page...
Home Groups are a great way to get to know a small group of people better. Each week we take time to share what is happening in our lives.
In Home Groups we want to support each other in the mission Jesus has called us to, to make disciples. We do this by praying, listening, meeting needs and encouraging each other.
Why join a Home Group?
Whether you are just starting to ask questions about the Christian faith or have been a Christian for years, Home Groups are the best place to grow in your relationship with God and to connect well with others in church.
When and where do Home Groups meet?
Groups of around 10 people meet together, normally on Thursday evenings, in various homes around Binscombe and beyond. The exception to this is that every first Thursday of the month, there is a whole church Prayer Meeting in the church lounge. We also break from Home Groups for most school holidays and meet as a whole church.
